In the previous video we utilized the ellipse tools in AutoCAD to generate an isometric view of a circular cylinder. Now in this particular video I'm going to show you how to use more isometric tools in AutoCAD. We've got a new drawing for you it's called isometric.dwg and you can download it from the library to follow along with this particular video. When you open it up and jump into the model tab you'll notice it's a half finished view an isometric view of what looks like a 3d rectangular solid. Now make sure you're on the objects layer in the layer drop down here in the layers panel first of all and then you need to make sure that you've got a particular setting switched on on your status bar it's a particular drafting setting it's this one here can you see it there it's called isodraft if you click on it and switch it on you see it goes that little blue color you can turn off your polar tracking at this point so that you don't get confused so you're only using isometric angles to…
