- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now in our AutoCAD Mechanical course and we're going to be looking at annotating within parts, subassemblies in our AutoCAD Mechanical drawings. The first thing we're going to look at is annotating parts which is fairly quick and easy, you've just go to know the right way to go about it, cuz it's very different to the way that you might work with annotation in regular AutoCAD. So, we got a new drawing for you. It's called annotation_symbols.dwg. Before you start working on this particular video, and you've downloaded the file and you're ready to go, go to the view tab on the ribbon, make sure in the palettes panel that you've switched on your Mechanical browser, like so. And then you want to go to the drawing tab in the Mechanical browser and make sure you double click on block here, you can see it's the current view already in the drawing tab in the Mechanical browser.
