- [Instructor] We're now going to be looking at configuring and activating our power snaps in AutoCAD Mechanical. Now the drawing we're going to use looks remarkably familiar, that's because that's the drawing at the stage it was at the end of the last video. I deliberately didn't finish off the drawing completely so that I could show you some other things in this video, which include configuring and activating the power snaps. Now, the activating the power snaps is really important in AutoCAD Mechanical, because what it allows you to do is work with dynamic input and preset snap settings. You'll understand what I mean when I show you. So make sure you download Cylinder Part 2 dot DWG from the library so that you can follow along with the video. Once you've done that, zoom in closely on the section A-A at the bottom, and just pan up a little so you got a bit of space below it as well, like that.
