- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now in our AutoCAD Mechanical course. And we're going to be looking at some of the mechanical options that you might use, perhaps as a CAD manager. So, we've got AutoCAD Mechanical open, at the Start tab, as if we've just started up AutoCAD Mechanical. What I'm going to do now is start a new drawing. So, I'm going to go up to the quick access tool bar, click on New, and I'm going to select the acad template there, like so, and click on Open. That will open up a new blank drawing. I'm then going to right click and go to Options on the shortcut menu. And you'll notice that I'm in the AM Standards tab, there. You've got all these AM tabs at the end. You want AM Standards. And I'm going to click in here and type in COMPANY STANDARD. So, it's a new COMPANY STANDARD, like so. You can type any name in that standard listing. We're going to apply new settings to the layers, when the standard is created or changed. And the measurement will be based on…
