Auditing and compressing

- [Instructor] In order to keep your database clean and synch with your drawing, you should perform regular database maintenance. This makes sure that any components that you delete from the drawing are also deleted from the database. This is a simple procedure that takes just a few clicks. I'm going to go ahead and open Drawing 1201, and I'm going to come up to the sample project here, I'm going to right-click. So you'll see we have the Audit Project and we have Compress Database. So to audit the project, just right-click the project title and say, Audit the Project. So you'll see that the command line says No Errors Found, so now you can move on with the compressed database. And we work this the same way, we right-click and we compress the database. We have two options. We can compress the database without purging history, or you can compress and purge history.
