Importing a CAD drawing into Revit

- [Narrator] There are two methods of bringing in CAD files into your Revit project. Now what I'm going to do is take you through those two different methods. They are known as importing a CAD file and linking a CAD file. The first one we're going to approach is importing a CAD file into a Revit project. Now you'll notice I've got Revit open on the screen. I haven't got any Revit projects open though. We're in what they call, the recent files screen. You can see that at the top there in the title bar, recent files. So you can see a Sample Architecture Project, Sample Structure Project, Sample Systems Project. They're the ones that come with Revit. And you'll also see the 01 Office Reception area model there, top left. That's the one that we saw in the previous video, in this chapter.
