- [Instructor] In this tips and tricks video for AutoCAD we're going to be taking a look at center marks and center lines. Now, we've got a drawing for you, it's 311 Center Marks.dwg. And you know the draw by now. You can download that from the library to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. Now, when you open up the drawing in the model space, you'll notice that we have two simple blocks, we have a little bolt block and we have a little sort of planned view of the bolt, the top view. So if you imagine that circular view there is looking down from the top, looking down onto the top of the bolt there. So that circle there is in essence this washer here like so. Now they're not aligned, they're not tidied up. They're just two blocks that have been dropped into this particular drawing. Now, you'll notice on the layers panel, on the home tab on the ribbon that we are using the center lines layer. Please…
