- [Instructor] We're starting another AutoCAD Tips and Tricks video, and in this particular Tips and Tricks video, we're going to be taking a look at how we can convert text in an AutoCAD drawing to blocks, and for that reason, we've got a new drawing for you. It's called 426 Text To Blocks.dwg. You can download it from the library to follow along with this particular Tips and Tricks video. Now, when you open up the drawing, you should be looking at a bunch of office cubicles in a floor plan, and you're in the Model tab. Make sure you're in the Model tab. Now, you'll notice that a lot of the room numbers here have got this little sort of orangy yellow color going on, and they are a block reference. Notice when I hover over them, they're a block reference. However, Cintra's cubicle here has an attribute on layer zero and a rectangular polyline on layer zero. So, what I can do now using the Search and Convert tool in AutoCAD 2026, I can ask AutoCAD to find all of the similar instances…
