- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. And again we're talking about the latest version of AutoCAD, AutoCAD 2025. Now, one of the really cool things that's been going on in the background with the likes of Autodesk and AutoCAD is they've been in discussions with a company called Esri. Now, Esri create ArcGIS data, GIS being geographical information systems. And what Esri are doing is creating all of these GIS location maps for us to use to position our designs in the real world using real world maps. And these Esri basemaps are fantastic for locating anything that you might want to design, whether that be a building, a factory, or a housing estate, for example. Now, the drawing we've got for this particular tip and trick is actually blank. It's a blank metric drawing. The drawing itself is 378-ArcGIS-EsriBasemaps.dwg.
