- [Instructor] As we discuss data storage and how to store and manage our data in an Azure subscription, we would be remiss to not talk about that data itself. And one of the biggest challenges to most organization is data governance, or having control over that data, understanding that if we have hundreds of SQL Server databases, we have many different storage accounts and blobs, and many different locations on our network, both on-prem and in the cloud that store data. We need to have a control over that data, understand how that data is being used, and have a clear view into the data health. All of these tasks relate to data governance. And data governance is something that most organizations are becoming more and more concerned with, and need additional resources that help them into maintaining and getting control over that data.
