From the course: Azure Infrastructure as Code with GitHub
What you should know
- [Instructor] In this course, we could talk about Azure, Infrastructure as Code, and GitHub. We can't code through all the concepts all the way because that would be a very long course. So it does help if you are familiar with some concepts. You should already know about Azure Fundamentals. So you should be familiar with an Azure environment and know what subscriptions are and what the resources are. If you're not familiar with this yet, I do recommend to take one of the courses of the LinkedIn Library that focuses on Azure before returning to this one. It isn't necessary to know that much about infrastructure as code. We will explain the concept. It might help you though if you have worked with it before. In this course, we're going to use Bicep and we're going to provide the Bicep file for you so you don't have to be a Bicep expert, but we will not explain the code to you. So it's good to be aware if you want to learn about Bicep, we're not going to cover it in this course. We, of course, are going to use GitHub so it does help if you are familiar with Git. Again, you don't have to be an expert, but if you know the concepts about a repository and how you interact with it, that can really help you. We will also not cover how you can create a GitHub account so make sure you have a GitHub account ready to follow along with this course.
