Creating a startup page
- A start-up sheet is a cool feature of Revit. And it's a great way to give the appearance of having your standards in place. If you can get your people looking at the same information, every time they open a model, you're on track to having really good Revit set up. We can actually force Revit to open a model every time with a sheet as a default as well. So let's get started by jumping into Revit. Under families, I'm going to go to new, browse through your language. I'm going to go to title blocks. It doesn't matter what the size is, so I'll grab a big one, E1-42 by 30. I'm going to click open. Now let's add some labels. On the create tab. I'm going to click on the label button instead of tag one I'll click edit type, and I will rename it. Call it SU_Project Information. Click okay, keep it a quarter inch. That's fine. I'll make it bold. Click okay, now I'm going to go right here with it. Let's scroll…
