- [Narrator] When I'm creating templates, text is pretty much the first thing I look to tackle. It's easy to do, and when you think of standards, text is basically the first thing that comes to mind. So to start off, we're going to actually create a template. And within that template, we're going to add our text to it. All right, let's jump into Revit. Under Models, let's go New. Let's select our Imperial Architectural Template. Now I'm going to click on project template instead of create new project. Let's click OK. Let's purge out some of the text styles that come with Revit out of the box. So if we go to the Manage tab, let's go to Purge Unused. Let's scroll all the way down to the bottom and drill into where it says Text. Notice that everything is checked on though, let's make sure we click on Check None. So we have zero showing down here. Now let's click on 1/4" Arial and Schedule Default. Two items are checked,…
