- [Instructor] It's as if the parameters we used to create our sheets aren't enough. Well, unfortunately they're not. Let's take a look at how we use shared parameters in Revit to allow us to have custom fields in our title blocks as well as in our projects. So, to get started in Revit, under Families, let's go Open. Browse to where you're keeping your exercise files, roll into Chapter 01, Families. Let's grab ANSI D 22x34_WITH REVISIONS, or as always, grab whatever border you want. Click Open. Now, maybe we'll put a little label down here. Go to Create. On the Text panel, click Label. For the tag label, let's go SU_PROJECT INFORMATION. Maybe put a spot like right here. Now, what I like to do is use a parameter called SED number. That's the state education department. I live in New York State. That's a specific parameter we need to put in there when you're stamping drawings. Doesn't exist, obviously.
