- [Instructor] Okay, this part's my favorite. Revit organizes CAD better than CAD organizes CAD. In this video, we'll be importing views from another model. So let's jump into Revit. Under Projects, I'm just going to start a brand new one, so I'm going to go Architectural Template. Now, when it's time for hunting down details, we know where they all are. They're all in one spot. So if we go to the Insert tab, if we click Insert from File. I want to insert views from file, so let's go Insert Views from File. Now, I want to browse where I'm keeping my exercise files, and I'm going to find this Master Details Complete. Now I'm going to click Open. What we're going to find are Schedules, Drafting Views, and Sheets. Sheets work too, but what I like is the fact that we have Drafting View and we have Schedules we can pull in.
