- [Instructor] In this week's splendors tips, tricks and techniques. We're going to talk about cloth, collisions in Olympic caches. Let me show you. Now in their last few Blender releases there's been a ton of updates to cloth simulation particularly at making it run faster and be a lot better. So with that, I want to just show you really quick how to do a cloth simulation. It helps to have something interesting to simulate on. So I'm going to delete this cube by hitting delete and go to add and add myself, both a monkey and a plane. Now with this plane, what I want to do is go to move and move it up and go to scale and just hit S to scale it out or just click on this little blue square right here. All right. Now let's go to our modifiers tab and in our modifiers I want to add a subdivision surface and I want to go all the way to six. I know I'm crazy. And then go to simple and apply that.
