- This week in blenders tips, tricks and techniques. We're going to talk about interpolating your drawings with blender. Let me show you. Let's go up to file, new and make a brand new 2d animation. Now from here, you can go to object mode and just delete that little guy and then go to add grease pencil, monkey. Now we can come back into edit mode and let's bring this up here. Now from here, you can actually either draw another monkey or you can hit A, and let's go to say frame 60 or so and then hit G to move our monkey over here. Now we have two key frames of a monkey. One at 1 and one at 60. Go between these drawings, I could move the monkey and kind of get there slowly over time or I could let blender do it for me. Now real quick if you see a purple in green monkey, that's actually called an onion skin and you can click on this little squiggly line and turn it on and off.
