- [David] In this week's Blender: Tips, Tricks and Techniques, we're going to talk about sculpting like a pro. Now, before, we've talked about the multi res modifier and we've talked about sculpting and how to use them in conjunction to unsubdivide a model. It's a really awesome feature, but I always like to say start with a good foundation so that you have some good stuff at the end and you don't have to fiddle around with settings to try to get it right. What I mean by that is instead of going into sculpting mode right up here, I go into new sculpting, start instead with a cube and then add a multi res modifier. And you can actually subdivide it a bunch of times. So let's go all the way up to six or seven. Now from here, I can click on my sculpting tab and zoom in and you'll see as I move around, it pops in this weird kind of blocky way.
