- [Instructor] In this week's, Blender: Tips, Tricks and Techniques, I want to talk about a hidden attribute, that's inside all of our fire simulations and it's called heat. Let me show you. First, it helps to have something to blow up and be on fire. So let's get rid of this cube, and let's go ahead and add ourselves a Monkey. Next, I'm going to go to Menu Search, and type in quick smoke. Now, you can do just smoke or smoke and fire or fire. But for me, I'm going to do smoke and fire. If this is the first time you're running, you might see a little hitch, as Blender is trying to get everything figured out. Also, it helps to be in cycles, so I'm going to switch to cycles. And maybe for good measure of the noise, the viewport as well. All right, now let's go down and take a look at our fire. So go to the Physics tab, and there's so much cool stuff in here.
