What data-blocks are and how to use them

- [David] In this week's Blender's Tips, Tricks, and Techniques, I want to talk about a question that was emailed to me about troubleshooting a Blender file and what to do with it when weird stuff is happening, et cetera. Well, it helps to understand what the guts of a Blender file is. Everything inside of Blender is basically a data block. An animation, well that's actually called an action data block. An object, that's actually made up of an object data block which shows you its position, then the mesh of that object, which is also a data block, and maybe even the material, which, believe it or not, is also a data block. The data blocks inside of Blender are like the foundational atoms that make up your objects.
