Visual search
Searching for text is a good way to find callouts and phrases in project specifications and throughout a set of construction drawings. But in our drawings we tend to have a lot of symbols that represent things like light fixtures, electrical outlets, and many more. So Bluebeam Review has a visual search tool that allows us to find those kinds of symbols. Let's take a look at how to use that by jumping to another page in our sample construction drawings. We'll jump over to sheet A, let's pick A3.1, the exterior elevations, where we have all of our windows. Let's close that thumbnails tab and zoom in on some of our windows open that visual search tool again by clicking the search icon and opening that panel making sure we have visual selected and we'll click on get rectangle. This is going to change the cursor into a crosshair and I can use that to drag a rectangle over one of my windows designated as W1. When you do that you'll see this is now what I'm searching for.
