What is Microsoft Copilot Studio?

- [Instructor] Microsoft Copilot Studio is a powerful low-code development platform for building AI agents. With Microsoft Copilot Studio, you can build custom AI agents for your organizations with your data sources. Extend the capabilities of Microsoft Copilots, like Microsoft 365 Copilot. As an integrated development platform, Microsoft Copilot Studio enables us to connect with many other systems like a Power Platform, Azure, AI Foundry, and a Microsoft 365. Add knowledge to AI agents using public websites, uploaded files, SharePoint sites, and other enterprise data sources. Build your business-critical topics using a canvas and generative AI. Create actions with numerous prebuilt connectors. Monitor activities with a complete log of past agent runs. Secure data access by configuring different authentication settings. Deploy your agent on multiple channels like a custom website, Microsoft Teams, and a mobile app. And use analytics to gain insights into engagement rate and a customer satisfaction. Microsoft Copilot Studio helps implement the agent development lifecycle. It starts with the requirements analysis and a system design. You need to understand your business needs before designing your agent. Now, we start to build our agent. Microsoft Copilot Studio provides an AI-powered low-code development platform to simplify our jobs. Next, we need to test our agent to ensure it meets the requirements. After that, we can publish our agent on multiple channels. Finally, we need to maintain our agent by monitoring its performance and seeking improvement for the next development cycle. Now, let's have a quick tour of Microsoft Copilot Studio. Open a browser, then enter copilotstudio.microsoft.com. I'll sign in with my work account. Here's the homepage of Microsoft Copilot Studio. Click Agents. You can create a new agent or manage your existing agents Click My Demo AI agent. In the agent working environment you can find the main functions in the menu. The Overview page provides quick links to the common functions like, edit agent details, Open Analytics, Add knowledge, add actions, add triggers, add topics, and publish the agent status. Click Knowledge. You can add knowledge sources like a public websites, files, and SharePoint. Click Topics. You can manage your business-critical topics. And build a topic with an authoring canvas. Click Actions. You can add an action with flows, connectors, skills, and APIs. Click Activity. You can access the agent activity log. Click Analytics. You can monitor the performance of your agent. Click Channels. You can make your agent available on multiple channels. Click Publish to publish your agent. You can click Settings. You can configure agent details. Generative AI, Security, Entities, Skills, and the Languages. You can also click Test to test your agent anytime.
