- So in this lesson, we're going to be going over the most common Linux distributions that are available basically for convenience to practice your skills and to take advantage of many different tools for ethical hacking and also for other concentrations in cybersecurity. So here what you're seeing is Kali Linux that is already modified. The reason that you see a prompt there that's called websploit is because I created an environment called websploit to practice your skills. But Kali Linux is not the only Linux distribution that is available for you to practice your skills. So if you go back to my GitHub repository and you go into the exactly the same section, build your own lab, you see this a writeup of the pen testing Linux distributions that are the most common out there. This is not a complete list. There are many others, but these are different Linux distributions that have been used by many pen testers, many ethical hackers, many bug hunters to not only practice their skills…
