- [Instructor] Test structure. Let's now talk about the tests for each skill. First, there's the reading and listening test. This test takes about two and a half hours to complete. The listening part takes about 45 minutes, and the reading part takes about 75 minutes. The last half hour is for answering questions about yourself. Overall, there are 100 multiple choice questions for each skill and all of these cover real world tasks. We'll talk more about how these tests are scored later on. For now, just note that scores range from 10 to 990 points. The listening section is divided into four parts. In part one, you'll listen to four statements that match to a picture in your test book. It's your job to match the picture to the statement that describes it best. In part two, you'll hear a question or statement and you need to select the response that makes the most sense.
