Product roadmap

- For some teams, roadmaps are a joke. They don't get updated as things change or are really technical in nature. Agile roadmaps, they are customer-focused and changed regularly. A product roadmap is a planning tool that helps Agile BAs communicate the progress towards the vision of a solution or initiative. They show how a product is likely to grow. Chris, our Agile BA, has sharpened his Agile skills and knows that Agile product roadmaps are all about changes in a customer focus. BAs like Chris use it to help leaders make decisions on budgeting and priorities. It's focused on features and capabilities, rather than milestones and checkpoints. There are five key elements in a product roadmap. First, the defined vision and strategy. Chris clearly articulates the vision for the initiative, the goal to be achieved and how the vision and goal will be achieved.
