- [Instructor] As you're making adjustments to content on a slide, such as alignment, there are some tools that can be really helpful, and these are located over on the View ribbon. Let's check them out. So we'll go to the View ribbon, and then here within the Show group, let's start with Ruler. We'll check the box for Ruler. And notice that we have a horizontal ruler here at the top, and we have a vertical ruler that runs down the side here. We can also turn on what are called Gridlines. And these gridlines are in the background of your slide. You'll notice that we have dotted lines to indicate a position on the slide, both vertically and horizontally. And then we have what are called Guides, and let's turn that one on as well. Now your guides might be a little bit more difficult to notice where they are, and you'll notice that we have more dots running right down the center here, that indicates that that's a guideline.…
