- [Instructor] If you're following along with the Exercise Files, there are two files that we will work with in this video. We're going to start with 02_12_Restrict, and here it is. You can restrict editing of a presentation by marking it as final. And this does a lot of things. It's going to save the file, it's going to display a yellow bar at the top of the application that indicates that the status has been marked as final, it's going to change the property of that file to final, it's also going to let everyone know that they shouldn't make changes to it, and it's going to disable some of the functionality like editing or typing. Here's how it works. We need to go to the File tab and then select Info and then we're going to select Protect Presentation. The bottom choice is what we're looking for. It's Mark as Final.
