- My most memorable interview was one that I was woefully underprepared for. I mistakenly assumed that because I was introduced to the hiring manager by a mutual friend that the interview was more of a formality. Well, I walked into the room where interviews were being held and found myself staring at five smiling faces, sitting in large chairs in a semicircle with my seat facing them. It felt like an interrogation. There are three types of interviews. First is a structured interview. As the name suggests, there are a predetermined set of questions that every candidate is asked, there's no deviation. This approach ensures consistency, efficiency, and reduces the risk of bias. The next type is the unstructured interview. These interviews do not have a list of questions.
