Anticipate the learning needs of your employees

- We have two eyes and two ears, but only one mouth. We should use them in that ratio, meaning we should watch and listen twice as much as we speak. Why? Because you can learn a great deal simply by watching others. As a manager, you can learn to anticipate needs before they are ever articulated. Christopher Wadell was an able-bodied skier who cannot remember a time he was not skiing, but one day changed everything. An accident in college left him without the use of his lower body. Today, Chris is known as one of the most decorated Paralympic athletes having competed in four Winter Paralympics as a sit skier and three Summer Paralympics in wheelchair racing. He's won 13 medals, five of them being gold. High achieving athletes all visualize their race, routine or meet before they do them. When Chris was paralyzed, his college ski coach approached him about skiing on a mono ski an apparatus made for adaptive skiing.…
