- Let's look at another scenario that calls for developmental coaching. A woman named Asha has been on your team for years. She's organized and reliable, an outstanding employee, but she's frustrated because several of her peers with less experience have already been promoted. Asha is coming in for a coaching session this morning and she wants to talk about why she keeps getting passed over. The goal is to help her identify what might be holding her back.
