- Growing up, I remember the first time I set foot inside a theater. I was about to meet my theater coach for the first time playing improv games. And the moment I walked in, I remember her calling me out straight away, and she says, "My goodness, look at that young man. "He's got a case of stone face." She was being fun and funny about it, but at the same time, I kind of hated her a little bit inside for calling me out like that. She did change my life, so I forgive her. And she would send me to the back of the room with a few other kids and we'd have to sit there practicing, moving our faces with a mirror that we'd have to hold up. It was so awkward just looking at yourself, making silly faces, and she'll make us do this every class for five minutes at least. And as silly as it felt, this exercise changed my life. I've become more expressive with my face, and this has helped me communicate with more clarity. Because instead of the previous version of me, I used to speak to everyone…
