Working with issues
- In this section, we'll discuss how issues are created, edited, and transitioned, so you can keep these actions in mind when configuring the needed schemes and settings. The easiest way to create a new issue is by clicking the create button in the main nav. Click Create to open the issue creation screen. First, select the proper Jira project, type a project's, long name, its short name, or scroll through the dropdown list. For this example, I'll choose the Human Resources Project. After you've selected a project, select the type of issue using the issue type dropdown menu. Each project has its own set of issue types based on the type of work done. Some projects have just one issue type, and some have many. I'll choose task. After selecting a project and issue type, complete the remaining form fields.
