8.1 Requirements for enabling Copilot: Part 1
- Copilot for security is pretty easy to turn on. However, we do not recommend you just rush to turn it on, but instead, first, plan out a few things, validate a few things to make sure that you get the maximum value and reduce the learning curve or reduce the time to value by being better prepared. We're calling these your day zero tasks. First, you're going to have a Copilot for security team, and this includes, and it's critical to have an executive sponsor. Remember, Copilot for security, like many tools, are not free. Therefore, in the end, there's going to be the funding questions and it's ideal to have an executive sponsor help with those questions. You're also going to need specific administrator roles, not only to turn it on, but to also use the technology, so it's ideal to also make sure those administrators are available. There's been situations where I've worked with customers, they're ready to turn on Copilot for security, but then when it gets to actually turning it on…
