- [Instructor] So, most likely, you're not going to be involved in setting up group policies, but you are probably going to be involved in troubleshooting their application. So, some common issues that you might come across, security filtering, which we looked at in the last session. We use that to change the default behavior of the application of group policies. So, we might deny the applied group policy permission to a group of which your device or user is a member, and that's something you need to watch out for. WMI filtering, we can construct a query effectively based on the Windows Management Instrumentation interface, hence WMI, which will determine whether or not the policy applies, so perhaps the computer that the user sitting at doesn't meet the requirements of that particular WMI filter.
