- [Instructor] You can consider your user accounts as an entry point into your resources and your data. As a consequence, it's important that when users sign in, they do so in a secure manner. Multi-factor authentication can help here. It requires two or more authentication methods: something that you are, something that you have, and something that you know. So, a combination of those. So the something that you are might be a biometric, like a fingerprint analysis or a facial scan. Something that you have might be a mobile device with your authenticator app, or a cell phone that's able to receive a text message, or indeed the computer that you're sitting at. And we'll talk about Windows Hello in a moment. And then something that you know might be a PIN number or a password.
