How to create small multiple timelines

- [Instructor] A small multiple would be an example of a timeline broken down by different dimensions. Now, the reason why we might want to do that is when we have a chart such as this, we haven't broken down any of our data by individual dimensions. Now, typically, we would add that as color, but if I was to add category to the color, we can see that it gets a little bit harder to see what's going on. This is good if I want to compare the relative values of the categories against each other. But if I want to look at one category in isolation, it's a bit of a mess because they're all overlaid one on top of the other. What the small multiple does is create multiple timelines for each of the individual dimensions. So as an example of that, let's take the category and instead put it onto the row. Now I have one timeline for each of my individual categories. I could go on further. Maybe I want to look at each category and each region. If we drag region and put it out onto the column, I…
