- [Instructor] UiPath has just recently introduced an automatic update feature for UiPath. You can see when I click down here and hover over my UiPath Assistant, my current version says 21.8.0. This window automatically popped up and says that UiPath has issued a required platform upgrade to 21.10.3 that must be installed by Sunday, November 21st. Would you like to install the update now? And if so, it tells you that UiPath Studio and Assistant will be closed to not lose any data, so you can either skip this or click on Update Now. I'll do that. Nothing overly magical happens. UiPath is shut down in the background, and the update happens out of your sight. You'll notice when I click on the caret again, the UiPath Assistant is not visible anymore, then this dialogue pops up that says UiPath update in progress. Please wait for it to be completed.
