- [Instructor] The UiPath platform makes it so easy to automate desktop applications. In this section, we're going to see how. The first thing we're going to do is install a sample desktop application. It's the same desktop application I use in my Power Automate PL-500 course, so if you want to see the similarities and differences between UiPath and Power Automate, be sure to check out that course, as well. This sample desktop app is directly from a Microsoft website, so you don't need to worry about malware. Next, we'll create a project and use the Use Application/Browser activity just like we did with the web browser. Then we'll open the recorder and record our steps. It's fast and easy, so let's get started.
