- Well now we've moved on to the Control Panel, and just so you know, the Control Panel is a really large collection of these things called applets that are essentially used for updating system settings, dealing with hardware and all sorts of other troubleshooting things. Now these individual applets also have associated run files with them that are labeled as .cpl files. Now, I'm going to demo one of them here in a little bit, but we're also going to include all of them that Microsoft offers in your resources section. If you look at my screen here, I have Windows 10 over here actually open on the left side via virtualization, which we've touched on a little bit, but we're going to cover in the future. Now, we have Windows 10 Control Panel open on the left side, and Windows 11 Control Panel open on the right side, and I just wanted to point out a couple of quick differences for you.
