- It's really interesting when you talk to people who actually go to individuals' homes to fix computers. One of the things I'll always ask them is, "Well what do you do? What's your big job?" And for most people who are the first line repair techs for individuals, the biggest job they have is anti-malware. Getting rid of malware. In fact, Best Buy's Geek Squad, which is really famous here in the United States, quotes that around 90% of all of their repair work is simply removing malware. Malware is a big problem. But in this episode, I want to make sure, A, we know what malware really is, and then B, what are some of the symptoms you're going to run into? Now, the CompTIA A+ does, in my opinion, a rather strange job of throwing together a lot of anti-malware issues into a big glob. So I'm going to organize this a little bit.
