- I love the "Matrix" movies because I love that whole virtual reality system, you know, all that stuff being brought to life. It's really, really cool. In this episode, we're going to talk about virtualization. Of course, now, if you ask about 10 to 20 people what virtualization is, what the definition is, you're probably going to get several different answers that are kind of similar to each other. But I see virtualization, it's a way to virtualize everything about a computer into a virtual system. Now, virtualization is not to be confused with emulation. Now, emulation now, like Mike, by the way, I'm also a nerd when it comes to older video games like the Atari and then Nintendos and Super Nintendo. And you can get an emulator, you can download, there's all kinds of 'em out there, usually into old computer games, DOSbox is another one, it basically emulates the hardware and that's not what virtualization does.
