(upbeat music) (logo whooshes) - Welcome in, I'm your host Lauren Deal, and with me is Robin Abernathy. And we're continuing our conversation about managing resources. But this one is all about gap analysis. What does that mean? (Lauren and Robin laughing) - So a gap analysis compares your actual results or performance with your desired results or performance. So a gap analysis can be performed for many things. In the context of resource management, project managers would use gap analysis to analyze the project resources capacity, the resources that you have, what is their capacity, and what is the size of those resources or the number of those resources to make decisions about budgeting, about procurement, and about staffing?
