Browser extension, certificate, and firmware inventories

- [Instructor] Some types of inventory in Defender Vulnerability Management are limited to customers who have the add-on license or the full standalone license. There are three of these we need to consider. First off, we have browser extension inventories. This is going to be limited to Windows and what it does is give you an insight into the browser extensions that are installed on Edge, Firefox, or Google Chrome. The fundamental thing we're going to find out and that we're interested in about these browser extensions is the permissions that they have. So for example, there may be over permissioned extensions on these browsers that do not fit the risk appetite of your organization. You can find that data out and start a plan to remove them. The second type of inventory that we unlock at that higher level of licensing is to do with certificates. So for example, we can have a central location to find out across our managed devices when do certificates expire, which could be important…
