- [Instructor] In this video, we are going to use the properties panel, also known as the inspector in Rive to perform common tasks with elements on an art board. So let's get started, and to get yourself started, head to your dashboard and create a new file. And we'll set the width and the height to 900 by 800, and we'll create an art board. And because I don't like gray, let's go with white. Now that we have a blank art board, we should add some content. And Rive supports various file types such as JPG, PNG, SVG, PSD, and even JSON Lottie files for imaging illustration and certain animations. Audio can also be added in the wav or MP3 four formats, but this feature is only available for the paid accounts. Adding content to a Rive art board differs from what you may typically expect. If you open your chapter two exercise folder, you'll see that we have four files here. We have a PNG file, a PSD file, a JPG file, and an SVG file.
