You want to have a consistent schedule for getting feedback on how your brand is doing. Today, I'll share an approach to scheduling feedback so you're not overwhelmed along the way. There are two types of feedback in the workplace formal and informal. How often you request feedback will differ based on the type of feedback you're asking for. Formal feedback is typically more systematic and based on a company's performance management process. It tends to focus more on assessing tasks, evaluating competencies, or the achievement standards of the company. This type of feedback comes from your direct manager and happens less frequently because they need time to observe your trends and performance. I recommend requesting this type of feedback once or twice a year. This feedback gives you the ability to take strategic actions around Company X dictations.
