Create complex Floor geometry
- [Instructor] In the last video, we learned how to create a sloped floor but how can we add more complexity to a floor? What if we have to model a floor that, let's say, slopes down to a drain? Let's take a look at an example. This example shows a floor sloping down from multiple directions to a floor trench drain. Let's take a look at how it's done. Let's try to make a floor slope down to a floor drain in the middle. Let's go to Revit. In Revit, let's select our floor. Since we've got a situation here where we can't really grab the floor, let's Tab click. Tab clicking allows you to cycle between all overlapping elements until you reach the element that you need to select. So now, if you've got the floor tab selected, let's place a point to define the location of our floor drain. I clicked on Add Point. Now, you'll notice that the outline of the floor has turned green.
