- [Instructor] In this movie and the movie that follows, we are going to be looking at clipping and opacity masks. Now, before you think, yeah, we used clipping paths earlier. I know them. You possibly do, but there's another way of actually creating them you might not have noticed or know about, so it's worth hanging on for that. Now these are useful skills to have if you are producing cutaway illustrations, very, very common to have those inside of infographics, and almost always the essential skill is good masking. So we're going to bring in a texture file. It's a one bit TIF file that we can use as a texture. So if we use the place command, Shift + Command + P on a Mac, Shift + Ctrl + P on Windows, and you'll find it in the file menu if you are unable to use shortcuts.
