I'd like to meet the person who first made this phrase popular because I have a few notes to give them on the influence of language on our mental health and wellbeing. Inclusive language has the ability to foster community and even promote dignity and healing for those who have been excluded. I'd like to present to you three personas and share their experiences relating to written content. Vanessa grew up in a single parent home when she was in her first year of high school her mom got sick and couldn't work anymore. Vanessa dropped out of school to help make up the difference in income. Tony's first language is Italian.
