- [Instructor] As of 2020, 83 0.3% of internet users in the United States accessed digital video content. Online video consumption has increased every year for the past nine years and shows no sign of stopping. Some users are excluded from the opportunity to view and comprehend video content. I'd like to introduce you to three user personas whose stories can bring user needs to life. This is Carlos. Carlos uses adaptive technology to browse the web. His voice controls the actions of the browser rather than a cursor. Mean Asha. Asha doesn't have access to high-speed internet in her rural town. Viewing videos can be frustrating due to buffering. Longer videos are nearly out of the question. Last we have Kennedy. Kennedy has audio processing disorder. They are most successful at taking in new information.
