- [Presenter] The last W to think about is the what. What data is the dashboard actually going to show? Now, although this is the final W that we often consider, they are all interlinked. The who, the where, and the why kind of feed into the final part of what is it that we actually are going to use in our dashboard. So when we think about the what, what elements are going to help the understanding of our data? So what data do we actually need to display? What type of charts are we going to create using that data? Remember, the role of the dashboard is to help people see, understand, and act on their data, and understanding the audience, the who, where they're going to interact with it, the where, and the why, the type of dashboard that we're going to create. It's going to determine what data we actually need to display and how to display it. So are we going to have a high or low level of detail with our data? And typically, we aggregate our data up.
